I love writing conferences—the camaraderie, the insights, the challenges. There’s so much to be gained from meeting up with like-minded (or at least, similarly-minded) authors.

Realm Makers, a community of Christians who write speculative fiction, has been my author haven since 2017. In addition to this, the talent and experience present in the gathered science fiction and fantasy writing professionals provides a wealth of education and encouragement for creatives of all levels. Once a year we gather to grow, connect, and celebrate our progress. At this annual conference the Realm Awards honor the best in speculative storytelling.
